Monthly Lunch – Wed 10 Jan 2018

Dear All,

Welcome to 2018 and may it bring you good health, happiness and much joy.

We had a wonderful turn up in December with 25 hail and hearty enjoying a festive lunch. The time is fast approaching for our next gathering at 12.30 on Wed 10 Jan  in the bistro on the ground floor of The RACV Club, 501 Bourke St Melbourne.
Remember, just tell the doormen that you are on our Group table, booked under Cooper and move straight to the Bistro on the right.
As always smart casual attire, good humour, tales of daring, golf lies, exaggerated fishing stories  and about $35 will seal it.
I will ask Ian Kelly to distribute to the Vic membership at large.
Acceptances please by COB Mon 8 Jan would be appreciated.
Please note for those coming in from the suburbs or far regions that Hoddle St will be closed between Eastern Freeway and Victoria Pde and a number of rail lines are being worked on and buses are  replacing trains on some lines
I look forward to your company and sharing your new year resolutions!!
Regards
Brian

ANZAC Day 2018

All Scheyvillians,
For anyone thinking of attending the ANZAC Day Service at Villers Bretonneux next year, the DVA Website
shows that there are still approximately 600 seats yet to be allocated. If you want to attend book your seats through the website now (no cost).
They can be cancelled and passed on to ‘Wait List’ people if you don’t need them.
There is no point arranging your travel to attend VB for ANZAC Day if you don’t have tickets.
Neil Leckie (3/68) is one of several ‘Scheyvillian’ Tour Guides who take tours to the Western Front. He operates in conjunction with Belmore Travel in Melbourne.
There is also an Armistice Day at VB Tour in November on offer.
