Dear OTU Association members and guests.
Firstly thank you to all the members who very quickly sent the $50 to our Treasurer with your details with a number adding a donation. Very helpful towards our aim with the promotion of General Sir John Monash.
Tim has asked that we send you the attached invitations.
We would like your support in attending the RFDC Launch and dinner on Sat 5 Nov 16. It will be interesting to hear the speakers and then join us for the mixed formal dining–in night. These are annual events usually held in Sydney. However we have organised them on the same weekend of Saluting Monash Council Launch – we have about 30 supporters attending from Sydney.
The big event is the Launch on the next day Sunday 6 Nov 16 for the Monash Campaign. This is a first for the nation, which we plan to make a media event and on purpose it is being held in the new auditorium of the Shrine and as we know Monash made a major contribution with the design and push to have it built – when not all in Melbourne were in favour.
