Dear Victorian and Tasmanian Scheyvillians, for your information.

Frank Miller.

Subject: Vale Phil Davies

Dear Duntroon Society Vic/Tas Branch Members,

I regret to advise the passing of long standing Society and former Vic/Tas Committee member Phil Davies (RMC 1961) on 21st April following a long illness, attributed to SVN service, that left him sadly uncommunicative during his last few years of life.
Phil and Sandra’s involvement with DunSoc commenced with his support for their friends Alby and Margaret Morrison from the outset and he was especially generous in his support as the last COMD 3 MD.
Phil will be remembered as a true officer and gentleman, professional in every way, and a real soldier’s soldier.
He will be sorely missed by his family, RMC classmates and all who were privileged to know him.
Bob Slater
Co-convenor
