The following advice has just been received from Di McKeand:
Dear OTU members,
It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this e-mail to all of you to inform you of my husband’s death on 26 March 2019. He was doing a motor cycle tour with Compass Expeditions at Port Macquarie and was so excited and looking forward to the adventure. He had three days of riding when on the fourth he failed to take a left hand corner and was hit head on and died instantly near Forster. He had in January a pace maker inserted and we now think and hope he had a heart attack causing the accident. We will have to wait for the coroner’s findings before we know for sure. He will be privately cremated and on Friday 5th April @ 1.30 Crown Plaza Hotel Terrigal we will be having a celebration of Ross’s life. If you can attend please rsvp to this e-mail for catering purposes.
