The first The Scheyvillian newsletter for each year is due out in early April and usually contains ANZAC Day details for the main centres for each Chapter.

Due to Easter falling over the period 29 March – 1 April this year, articles for The Scheyvillian 1 of 2024 are requested to be forwarded to be by 11 March 2024.

Please use Word documents with Times New Roman font size 12 in your articles so that we are all using the same font (and this saves me time reformatting and resizing pages)!

Photographs are preferred separate to Word Documents and in jpeg format.

I look forward to receiving a flood of articles prior to 11 March!

Dear Scheyvillians, National Chairman, Frank Miler received this email from Clive Badelow (4/69) this morning.

Vale LtCol Alan Pembshaw RAAEC  (4/71)

Its my sad duty to relay advice from his former wife Ann, that LTCOL (Retd) Alan Pembshaw, RAAEC (OTU Class 1/71) passed away peacefully on 28 Jan 24 in Kempele Finland from pneumonic complications with oesophageal cancer.

Alan had been living in Finland for much of the last 15 years with his Finnish wife, Virpi and had been battling his cancer for a little while.

Please advise our OTU brethren accordingly.

Confirms our telecon earlier today.
