Gentlemen,
Tony Sonneveld has been battling prostate cancer for many years. He has been one of the OTU Association’s longest serving Past Presidents, a Life Member, and co-ordinator of two National Reunions.
In his current state, the prognosis for Tony is bleak. Many members have expressed a desire to hold some sort of event, whereby an opportunity to recognise his efforts, and moreover, to catch up with Tony, occurs before that prognosis is realised.
Through the NSW Chapter, a celebratory lunch is being arranged, and will take place at the NSW Masonic Club on Monday 29th August 2016. Your invitation is attached. The ladies are also invited.
The timing of the event is such that interstate attendees may choose to spend a weekend in Sydney beforehand. As well, the NSW Masonic Club offers reasonable accommodation rates, in a quite elegant setting. (https://www.nswmasonicclub.com.au)
Some members of the National Executive already, including President Frank Miller and Treasurer Ray Elder, will be present at the lunch.
We are encouraging as many Scheyvillians as possible to attend the event, details of which are set out in the attached Invitation from NSW Chapter Chairman, Booka Bushell.
Yours sincerely,
Frank Miller
National Chairman, OTU Association
