REMINDER TO THOSE THAT HAVE NOT YET RESPONDED re OTU ASSOCIATION CLOSURE QUESTIONNAIRE – request for responses from Victorian Financial Members

 

 

 

 

 

Dear Victorian Scheyvillian, the attached Questionnaire is being circulated to our state

membership in order to ascertain your views on different aspects of the proposed

Association closure.

 

Questions may be answered with a simple “yes” or “no”. Further comment may be added

under each if you wish to do so.

 

We are indebted to our NSW colleagues for providing this document.

 VICTORIAN OTU CHAPTER QUESTIONAIRE

Please answer Yes or No along with any comments you may have under each question.

Q1.     Should the State chapters continue to operate as separate entities providing a point

 of contact and the vehicle for camaraderie and fellowship?                

 

Q2.   Should we continue to have a magazine (The Scheyvillian)?                        

 

Q3.    Should we maintain a website after the National closure?

 

Q4.     Should the Vic Chapter pursue Youth Leadership support/funding?

 

Q5.     Should Vic Chapter continue to have its monthly lunches and

 mixed events as normal?

 

Q6.     Should we hand over any Scheyville memorabilia to institutions such

 as the Royal Military College?

 

Q7.     Are you aware that OTU graduates are allowed to join the Duntroon Society?

 

Q8.     Should the OTU Association support or fund a museum at the Scheyville National Park?

                                                                                    

Q9.     Should the Vic Chapter charge subscription membership for its/ members?

Note that if we did, we would have to remain an incorporated body.

 

Q10.   Should the Vic Chapter contribute to any other charities (Legacy etc.)?

 

Q11.   Should the National Association donate monies to youth leadership schemes like

the Lady Somers Camp prior to the wind up? Note that once are wound up there will be

 no connection to what was the OTU Association.

 

Q12.   Should the bulk of the monies held at National HQ be distributed on a pro-rata

basis (that is membership of Chapters) as they are now?

 

Q13.   Should the National Association commission a statue or painting of an OTU

cadet for display in a museum?

 

Q14. Is there anything else you would like to add?
