Annual Geddes Dinner – Another Opportunity to Respond

Ray Elder
PO Box 540

Vic 3193

15 June 2017

Gentlemen,

12th Annual Geddes Dinner – 3 August 2017

The 12th Annual Geddes Dining In Night will be held at the Toorak Services Club on Thursday 3 August 2017.

Our speaker is Terry O’Farrell who was until recently Deputy Commander, Special Operations Group, United Arab Emirates. Terry enjoyed a highly successful 38 year SASR career and is well known by the colourful nick names of “Steel Eyes” and “Terrence of Arabia”. Terry’s summarised CV is attached.

I recently heard Terry give the talk that he will give at the Geddes Dinner. I can absolutely assure you that you will be enthralled as he provides details of Special Ops actions which he ran in the Middle East during his time in the UAE.

Terry has also written books on his experiences and I have invited him to bring copies along on the night for sale. Terry will gladly sign your copy.

The cost of the Dinner is $55 a head for the meal. Please note that at this year’s Dinner, drinks will not be provided during the meal but will, of course, be readily available throughout the evening at bar prices.

If you can offer a raffle prize, please let me know.

If you have any other queries, feel free to call me on 0412 354 170 or email me on rayelder45@gmail.com

Best Regards

Ray Elder
