Possible Future National Mini Reunion – Questionnaire

Possible Future National Mini Reunion – Questionnaire

Dear Scheyvillian, the possibility of holding another National reunion has recently been raised.

The feeling has been that perhaps many of us would like to get together once more and celebrate our unique OTU experience.

A much less intensive format than that of the brilliant 2013 “last hurrah” is envisaged. Essentially this  would feature two special functions. These would comprise  a mixed formal dinner and either a  cocktail party or BBQ/luncheon depending on the location. Should NSW be agreed and willing, the latter may be held at Scheyville itself. If it were to be Vic or the ACT, the cocktail party alternative would be pursued.

A day in the programme would also be set aside for individual class reunions.

With so many of our number being now retired and the increasing tendency for those from the Southern States to head North or overseas in the Winter, it is felt the warmer portions of the year would be appreciated by most. Accordingly, March, May, September, October or November would seem most suited. (April could interfere with ANZAC Day commemorations in the different States and has therefore been excluded).

It is thought it best to be held in year 2020.

We are eager to gauge support for this proposal and would seek your input.

Accordingly we would ask if you could answer the five questions in the link (below) by Wednesday 8th August.

Best wishes,
