Hi All,

Our Annual Festive Lunch is on again on Wed 11 Dec at 12.30.
As always at the RACV Club, 501 Bourke St Melbourne in the Bistro on the ground floor.
Smart casual dress , good fellowship and possibly around $45 are the order of the day.
We have a subsidy, possible discount voucher and the Annual dessert offer from Nick Callinan, that will help with the cost.
We have one new member, SteveTomming 4/72 who we hope can join us on the day.
Can you please advise attendance by COB Monday 9 Dec at the latest as The Club gets heavily booked around that time and I may not be able to allow for last minute acceptances.

Further to the tragic death of Bill Watson 2/69 in a car accident at Adaminaby on 15 Nov 19, Bill’s wife Jennie and family have today confirmed that they will have a private funeral and have made the following arrangements for Bill’s Farewell.

“A gathering to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Commonwealth Club (25 Forster Crescent, Yarralumla, ACT) on Wednesday 4th of December at 11am. All welcome.

Should friends wish, memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s ACT (http://www.parkinsonsact.org.au/).”

Bill’s son in law, Travis Harvey, is collecting and coordinating photos from Bill’s friends and the family would appreciate if digital copies of photos with Bill in them can please be sent to travharvey1@gmail.com

A number of scheyvillians have contacted me asking about the best address to send condolences to Bill Watson’s widow Jennifer (Jennie).
